Nonprofit partnerships
It’s written into our bylaws that we donate 10% of our profits to organizations that are working to build a more just, equitable, and sustainable world. That’s a great start, but we also like to go beyond The Big Check.
Board-led giving
As an employee-owned cooperative that works with credit unions, we understand the power of the cooperative model when it comes to access and ownership. That’s why half of our charitable contributions each year go to organizations that support the cooperative economy. Here’s who we partnered with in 2024:

Inclusiv
Inclusiv helps low- and moderate-income people and communities achieve financial independence through credit unions.

Democracy at Work Institute
DAWI is a movement-based think-and-do tank supporting worker cooperatives to grow to a scale that creates meaningful change in the economy.

Project Equity
Project Equity preserves business legacies, retains jobs, and builds long-term by helping businesses transition to employee ownership.

HomeSight
HomeSight builds community and helps low- and middle-income families buy homes. Its Opportunity Center offers cooperative affordable housing with wraparound services.

“Our accomplishments last year are the direct result of the support of the donors, investors, and partners that make our work possible. We never lost sight of the power that employee ownership has to change lives, one worker at a time."
Employee-led giving
Since our team members span four countries and six U.S. states, we want to make sure that our giving efforts also support local causes that are meaningful for each of us. To that end, we select teammates each quarter to direct our employee-led giving efforts. Here's where we donated in 2024:
