After earning my bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Washington, I honed my skills in Finance and Accounting, focusing on accuracy and process improvement. I am driven to create solutions, foster connections, and make a positive impact, all while ensuring the creative minds at PixelSpoke have the support they need to thrive.

As a Senior WordPress Developer, I support seamless website development by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. I provide technical guidance to my fellow developers, foster knowledge sharing, and contribute innovative ideas to enhance our codebase and products.

With 20+ years of experience as a Software Engineer, I specialize in PHP and WordPress solutions, particularly for credit unions. I have led software teams to achieve company goals and discovered a passion for teaching, with 5+ years as an Assistant Professor at the University of Informatic Sciences in Havana. I love coding, turning technical challenges into possibilities.

As Content Manager & UX Copywriter, I lead the charge in crafting high-quality website copy for credit unions, blending creativity with UX best practices to elevate their digital presence. My role focuses on building and refining our content department to deliver impactful results.

As a freelance copywriter, I pursued the world of finance, writing content for financial advisors, private equity firms, and credit unions. Before joining the PixelSpoke team, I took on the task of visual storytelling as a video editor at television station, WAVY-TV 10 in Portsmouth, Virginia.

I founded PixelSpoke with my father in 2003 and served as CEO for 20 years. In 2024, I transitioned to a coaching and advisory role. My new ventures are focused on helping entrepreneurial couples to be more intentional about their relationships and families and coaching entrepreneurs through employee ownership conversions.

During my time with PixelSpoke, I was also certified as a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE), received the Global Citizen of the Year award from Entrepreneurs’ Organization for my work with refugees, and was named the B Economy Leader by the B Corp community for my work building local B Corp communities.

I co-lead an incredible team of individuals who do amazing work for our clients, and who continually bring out my strengths of empathy and development. I believe that I have two ears and one mouth for a reason, and that fact is critical to making sure that our clients and team feel seen, heard and are able to grow.

In 2024, I was certified as a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE). Before transitioning to President, I served as PixelSpoke's Creative Director for nearly two decades. I started out in legal exhibit design, moved on to textbook publishing, spent time in NYC in the web division of a large agency, and then served as the art director for an international magazine based in Portland. 

I manage the measurement, website testing, and reporting strategy for PixelSpoke and support the Discover process for our redesigns.

After studying management information systems at Oklahoma State University and integrated marketing communication at West Virginia University, I honed my skills at tech companies and digital agencies.

My fascination with the interconnectivity of the internet has led to a deep understanding of how to turn disparate data into useful information.

Driven by a lifelong love for technology, I bring over a decade of experience in WordPress development and a strong design background. My expertise seamlessly bridges the gap between code and creativity, ensuring that every project balances visual appeal with robust functionality.

At PixelSpoke, this dual expertise allows me to contribute deeply to both the design and development teams, fostering a seamless harmony between creativity and technical execution.

I work with the dev team and the company as a whole to create solutions for our technology needs. I love finding new ways to connect big ideas to tangible practical things.

As well known for my giggle as my calm and practical demeanor, I bring a positive attitude and steady hand to finding technical solutions to complex challenges. I love working with clients and my teammates to understand and articulate their needs and create efficient solutions that fit those needs. I get to do that every day at PixelSpoke.

Given my passion for all things sports, it's no surprise that I think of my role at PixelSpoke as being that of team captain. I'm a former college lacrosse player, and the current leadoff hitter for my rec league softball team. I love bringing my team-first mentality and passion for collaboration to my role as CEO at PixelSpoke. 

I like to think of myself as a remover of obstacles, a spreadsheet fanatic, a solutions seeker, and a relationship builder. I'm here to foster a thriving company culture and cultivate partnerships with credit union leaders to explore how they can support their members and communities through their website. I'm also a certified Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) and co-host PixelSpoke's Remarkable Credit Union podcast.

As the Director of Marketing & Impact, I help build relationships and raise our impact profile via strategic partnerships in the credit union and cooperative movements. I'm also certified as a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) and co-host PixelSpoke's monthly podcast, The Remarkable Credit Union.

I've been working in marketing and impact since age 21, when I co-founded The Glimpse Foundation. Glimpse merged with National Geographic in 2008, and I subsequently managed marketing efforts at national and statewide nonprofits. I currently write a Substack newsletter, Mom, Interrupted, which interrupts notions of what it means to be a mother, worker, woman, and wife. 

My role is essential in crafting websites tailored for credit unions. As a WordPress developer, I support the team during critical stages of the redesign process by addressing technical questions, participating in technology calls, and reviewing deliverables. I transform UX designs into dynamic, functional websites.

I think that being a software developer is the closest thing to having superpowers in real life. Like Iron Man (my favorite superhero), you can create great things that are based on calculations and logic, but that are also full of creativity and fun. It is simply amazing!

As the UX Director at PixelSpoke, I collaborate with the team to create the strategies, designs, and functionality that help our clients reach their business goals. I believe that asking the right questions is essential to every good digital strategy.

I've been working in digital since 2011 for big and small brands. I've been with PixelSpoke since 2016. I love researching what makes a client unique, gathering user data, and searching for innovative ways to help clients share their story with their target customers. I am delighted every time we deliver measurable wins or learn something to improve.

As a Senior UX Designer, I create exceptional user experiences for client websites, tailoring each project to their unique needs. Growing up with an architect father and a fashion designer mother, design has always shaped my distinctive style.

Throughout my career, I’ve refined my passion for bold, impactful designs that push boundaries. My artistic talent, drive, and unique perspective allow me to deliver visually striking and results-driven work. I focus on listening to clients, understanding their needs, and delivering fresh ideas that honor their brand identity.

In my career I’ve learned that making meaningful connections with clients through proactive strategy is what drives a project to succeed, along with a collaborative team.

I know I’m successful because clients feel as though they can come to me with whatever they need. They have confidence in my team to get the job done right the first time, and in line with their strategic goals.

I have a BBA in Marketing from University of Massachusetts – Amherst. As an account manager for three full-service advertising agencies in Massachusetts, I’ve learned the importance of a skilled team when executing on both small and large projects.

As Senior Project Manager, I'm responsible for shepherding projects from inception to completion. This includes serving as the central hub managing communication, timeline, and budget. I strive to bridge the space between clients and our team, translating needs and goals in a way that everyone can understand.

My broad technical and graphical background enables me to accurately convey what is possible, in what timeframe, and at what cost. I have a BA in History and Ecology from the University of Rochester and a BFA from the Pacific Northwest College of Art. I also have received training in Front End Development form the Portland Code School. (Yes, I love to learn!!)

Unlike other Account Managers you might come across, PixelSpoke Account Managers are strategic partners in the overall success of our clients' mission. A satellite member of the team, if you will, who offers expertise and ensures needs are met. This is what I attempt to embody each day on the job.

How I got here? Like many, I started off as a grunt (military term for the person who does the actual work). You know, building websites and doing the technical stuff. It seemed only right that the next step in my career was to use my hands-on experience to consult on projects as an account manager, and I'm loving what I'm doing!

As the Director of Client Services, I help build positive outcomes for our clients and for our team, by effectively managing website redesign projects and growing existing client relationships.

Throughout a diverse career starting out in NYC, I have always been fascinated by the connection between the collaboration of a project team and the larger organization and its goals. I believe great project and account management is driven by making those connections.
